Reliance Retail has reported impressive growth in Q3FY25, with a Year-on-Year (YoY) revenue increase of 8.8%, reaching ₹90,351 crore, up from ₹83,040 crore last year. EBITDA grew by 9.4% YoY to ₹6,840 crore, surpassing analysts’ expectations of just 1-2% growth. Margins slightly improved to 7.6% compared to 7.5% in the same period last year.
On a Quarter-on-Quarter (QoQ) basis, Reliance Retail saw strong growth with an 18.4% increase in revenue and 16.7% rise in EBITDA. The company’s growth trajectory is being supported by significant expansion, with footfalls across all retail formats growing by 5% YoY to 296 million, and the opening of 779 new stores, bringing the total footprint to 19,102 stores.
A notable highlight is the 37% YoY growth in B2C grocery sales, showcasing the company’s dominance in the FMCG sector. Additionally, the Campa and Independence beverage brands have shown strong growth, with both brands expected to cross ₹1,000 crore turnover in FY25. Campa alone has captured a 10%+ market share in the sparkling beverage category in select states.
What’s truly remarkable is the contribution from digital and new commerce, which now accounts for 18% of total revenue, equivalent to approximately ₹16,250 crore per quarter, nearly $2 billion. For context, Blinkit and Instamart’s Q2 GOV were ₹6,100 crore and ₹3,300 crore, respectively, highlighting the strength of Reliance’s digital and new commerce platforms.
Just what I was searching for, appreciate it for posting.
Hmm it appears like your website ate my first comment (it was super long) so I guess I’ll just sum it up what I had written and say, I’m thoroughly enjoying your blog. I too am an aspiring blog blogger but I’m still new to the whole thing. Do you have any tips for rookie blog writers? I’d genuinely appreciate it.
